Free Spirit Software is NTSC. I met the guy in the late 80's was wild meeting him because he ran ads in Compute!, he lived less than a mile from me in Chicago. I used to make fun of the junk all over, but now, I see, it's a programmer thing ;)

yup, free spirit stuff is pretty much for NTSC :)

It seems this was done for NTSC machines as the drive speed measurement is wrong on PAL.

OK, marked download as corrupted now, because it misses the "calibration disk" - can that one be copied at all?

however you did it - it wasnt with this crack. to use this program properly you need the backside of the disk, which contains "spiral tracks" which then are used to measure alignment. without that its completely useless.

and that said, is it even a crack? =)
