Description:Part 3
Text:Here I am again.......the priest.........presentin' to you.........the first (!) circle scroll ever made on the c-64. credits........code and grafixx.......the priest..........mega music.....laxity.......the music is just amazing, don't ya think so, too ??? without the 2nd part it even would have been cooler, but it's too late now. but back to this scroll: most people thought, that such a scroll is impossible on the c-64 coz of no time. Well, as ya can see, they thought wrong......but the routine has one (only one ??) disadvantage: it is about 35(!) kb long, without text, music and grafixx........but with this routine i'm able to make any (!) kind of scroll, like real sinus scrolls (very nice, but hard to read; the characters are turnin' while they're goin' up'n'down), scrolls in any angle up'n'downstairs, any geometric figure...... Perhaps (when I managed to write a cool loadingroutine) i'll use this routine again, with the scrolldata of many different scrolls on disk. But thats not sure. If ya are interested in my routine, then write me, i'll send it to you, if ya write me a nice letter and enclose the return-postage. if ya are able to make cool musixx or nice grafixx (someone for the grafixx is very important) then write me !!! today we got the 16th of october 1988 05:13 am, yesterday woz the venlo-meeting. But I wasn't there, coz we got no car. Shit, coz it's real cool there. So what to write else ??? the greetings ?? why not.......they go to franky+slasher of the lions (franky luves it to read his name in demos. Hey slasher! i'm a member of the lions, even if this is the first demo I did for ya. So please mention me in your scrolltexts as a member!!) also greetings to mtk of afl (you'll get your disks back one day.!!?)..........soedesoft (hope you'll be in venlo next month)...........aac(please write me, i'm really interested in your demos)........deejay of triad (i got your adress now !!! it woz easy to find out, after havin' a look in the demo designer.)..........personal hellos go to the rotary iron, 64738 power, cookie monster, tgk crew, exterminators ii, new dimension, dragonsoft, jei, caw, mr.dick(come on, don't die lame, where is your demo ??? I know that ya are not bad, why do ya need so much time for your routines ???), ironfist, d. ... &c..(i know that ya expected to read your names here, but I decided that I don't say hello to ya coz of the letters some people sent me on your plk which ya did not give me.) thats it.......all those guys which contacted me some time ago and got a contact with some other persons should try it again. so what next ?? some words 'bout demos of other guys........thrust(on amiga).......the ottifanten-intro woz mega...........fashion(also amiga): fashionating is my favourite on amiga......exact: rasters, rasters, rasters. Quite nice, but borin'.........horizon: very nice, especially the parts from kjer........the supply team: nice stuff, especially 'new limits'.....finnish gold: fcs is the coolest coder these days. 'contest demo' is one of my favourites on c-64. Music of rock is also mega......scouse: your demos are cool, but why are ya tellin' such a crap like 'real interlace' or split-screen scrolling ?? noone believes that, also if it looks mega and the ideas are cool.......starion: microtop is one of the best vic rulin' coders...........sphinx: real cool ideas, more or less cool code, what else can one imagine ???...........mechanix: I dunno why, but I luv your demos, even if they are not the maximum in technic, they are original; pure quality...........2000 ad nice demos, I liked the whittney demo, but why ???........that's it. also if it is a bit unfair, if someone like me says something 'bout fcs or microtop, who are much better than me. But I said nuthin' negative, or ??? so, I think that's enuff text for this time. Just one more hello to the guy who contacted me from finland: hi to antimon finland. Sorry, no more powerrun. i'll end here. contact me. well thats it for today....... ................................ priest productions 15/10/1988

About this site:
CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time. Here you can find almost anything which was ever made for the commodore 64, and more is being added every day. As this website is scene related, you can mostly find demos, music and graphics made by the people who made the scene (the sceners), but you can also find a lot of the old classic games here. Try out the search box in the top right corner, or check out the CSDb main page for the latest additions.
