Release id #126921 : Commando Music

excuse me but what exactly gives anyone else the right to decide what we called a demo?

very few of our demos were called anything recognisable.

how the fck would you lot like it if i decided to rename your stuff because i didn't like what you had called it????

well fck it. 200 disks to transfer and now you can whistle for it.

thanks

Come on Steve, don't stop adding stuff because of this. The person who changed it can easily revert the change.

It happened also to my own entries where someone always changes a lower case v into a V. Very annoying.

I'm sure the title changes where done with the intention to make it consistent with other comparable music rip entries but as far as I know there is no strict rule for it.

If you don't want people updating your entries you can lock them by setting yourself as maintainer or add a small comment that it is the intended title for the release.

So any more Mean Team stuff coming?

well, the original name is still there, it's added as AKA, so what the hassle?

I have already changed them back once today. now I have done it again. thats twice since they were uploaded last night that someone has taken it upon themselves to change the name I gave them.

and locking means jack shit when its a mod that doing the changing.

I only want to say that "+" in filenames has to be avoided for not causing troubles where filesystems don't accept it. Please use d64 when possible.
Besides, I'm with Ste here, if they say they named a demo in a way, so be it, use AKA field for the other one if it's so strictly needed.

the + is a fair enough change. I put it in because that was what was on the filename. BUT we have since remembered that the cruncher itself added the + so it didn't overwrite the source file.

well fair play it was 30 years ago to remember :)

the ones I am really talking about are the uploads where the name was changed totally, like "yahoo"

ok, changed the name back to +Commando with Commando Music as aka, when someone will search for commando, he will get a hit for both versions anyway

There is no mod doing this, it was me. I don't have the time nor will to fuck around with STE, so please change the name back to whatever you want again. I won't change it, and I can't because it's locked. :)

I'll keep uploading my own stuff instead. Keep on filling csdb, STE. :)
