Release id #127994 : Color Splits

I was looking for demos/intros with raster splits.

I guess this demo is nog working the way it should be ?
Not on Vice 2.3 anyway.

When I checked out Let's Split I read in the upper screen: " 8 bugfree splits with characters" but it's not bugfree in Winvice 2.4. Maybe also a coding issue or ... ?

it shows grey dots problem with C64c setting (New VIC-II), set old C64 PAL model, or in VIC-II settings, 6569 PAL

I'm not the only one who can't get it to look quite the same as the screendump iAN posted.
So either the crt. freeze or something else wastes something or the emulator (2.4.5, wouldn't be surprised)
is still not emulating things as it should ;)

the emulator is fine, how exactly it looks is random, and depends on the ram content before the part was started. to make it look like in ians screenshot do poke $3fff,$55 before. or something :)

just retry the fixed d64 image, there was a BIT $EAEA in init code, I just placed a STA $3fff there, I guess it was nopped by error/for testing, and because it was not intended for releasing, prolly Wisdom didn't fix it; but only him could shed some light on this =)

Is it just me who thinks that the version with $3fff = $55 looks much nice than when it's "properly" set to $00? :)

@Ian: if I run the fixed version in Vice 2.4, the rasters are not stable?

It IS broken.

Unfinished and loosy work that was not even intended to be released, I was merely learning stuff. As can be seen from the screenshot, the Phobia text is not evenly spaced.

Some idiot from the group spread all our works/disks years later, without our knowledge. We did not even have foreign contacts at the time I did this, and I was in this group only for a few weeks.
