Release id #13290 : Geometric 2 +4F

Isn't it a bit odd to have a D64 with all cracks from a certain group?
I mean... it's supposed to be single entries, right?

I can only agree, but ppl are just to lazy to split them
up into single .t64/.d64 files.

This question about separating is a lose-lose situation. I often find it interesting to know the context of a release, f.ex spreadnotes, headers, releases spread at the same time. You don't get that with a separated release. This wasn't really an issue on the boards, but when it comes to mailreleases you get a different picture. With notes and headers you could sometimes trace the spreads in detail.

Keeping disks intact has amongst other things lead me to understand why some pretty obscure versions of certain games are found in a great extent in Sweden (swappers->Xakk->Pirat-Jan). On the other hand - things get confusing in a database this way. But mind, save for the big disk-transfer collections out there, there is no good archive for spreaddisks/swapdisks.

I always leave notes and so on at the disk if there are any.
Fixed a couple of DN cracks, enjoy.

i also usually don't rip images apart, for the same reasons twoflower mentioned.

I find that ripping the image apart but leaving the release-note in all different copies of the image works best (and of course preserving the headers, etc). But it's a matter of taste, I guess.

Would be cool to be able to make 'soft' images: built up from the separate releases in the database, but not as a real D64 (or whatever image).

You could do that by making it possible to add a database entry of a directory that holds the lay out, but links to the separate releases.
