So I was imaging some disks today and came across this one...
Shortly into the games loading a voice greets you with "Eagle Soft Presents" or at least that's what my ears are hearing. The high score list has the letters MIC which "could" possibly point to Mitch?
If you freeze the program when the voice starts and inspect memory around $c640 there's a reference to "Voicemaster v1.2 (c) 1984 Covox"
Sadly some sprites look to be corrupted as seen in the screenshot but it is a clean transfer.

I've never ran into another Eagle Soft crack with Covox speech but yeah it certainly seems legit. Note that this is not actually Mitch's (or anyone else's) voice, but you do use your own speech when working with the Voice Master.

Thanks guys! The other thing I forgot to mention is that at least in Vice, this won't load for me in PAL mode so it appears to be NTSC only which further leads me to believe it's legit.
It saddens me about the sprite corruption though :( |
