photos of computer setups

I have started collecting photos of "8-bit" computer set ups. I think it is fascinating to see the places where all kinds of computer magic happens/happened. I am mostly interested in home settings - rooms from any time and any place. Demoscene relation is good but not necessary, hi-res photos are preferred (with credits), informative texts and and stories is excellent.

Possibly, this is something that would be published aswell.
With a collection like this it is possible to see what was behind all those screen, to contextualize digital works with a physical place. Postdigital, as the theorists say. We wanna see your data office!

Spread the word! If you are interested, or just have some links and input, please post here or e-mail info@goto80.com. Or bring them to LCP! :) Thanks!

My new setup is actually my very first C64. I had to leave so much stuff behind when moving twice in a couple of years (including once to a different country). But luckily everything was still in perfect working order, just as I left it.
One plane flight later, and now the C64 and the CMD HD are running on dutch power, with a nice little 1541U (w/ case) and a 10" 4:3 s-video capable TFT.

Taken just now with my phone camera (8.1MP but still rubbish quality -.-):

The red cart is a Datel MIDI interface and the other cart is an MMC Replay

C64c has a 1541U (in clear plastic case) with ethernet connected to my PC running Vista64.

Rack of audio processors behind my monitor. It also contains my soundcard.

I have other kit in my room that's not in the pictures, including a 1541, c128 and 2 more c64's.

Rock and bleep :)

The Roland MC-4, Lexicon PCM70, Lexicon LXP1 are all computer-controlled with 8-bit Z80's or Z80 clone CPU's :P I'm sure the TR808 and TR606 are too, they contain uPD650C CPU's, whatever they are.

@clonK: Nice mixture of awesome gadgets and organised chaos - my way to go :) My fav bleep-hatchery picture of this bunch so far.

Is that a DD6 on the top of the right speaker?

hehe. cheers.
It's a Boss DD5.
I also use an Accutronics spring reverb tank which I use as a send effect and back into a mic channel (cos it really should have an amp stage).
I decided not to put up a picture of my racked gear 'cos it would be veering off the subject of this thread a bit :P
