EasyFlash Release
It's not possible to add an crack intro to an EasyFlash release. Current workaround is to change entry to C64 crack, add intro and back to EasyFlash |

Quote: We have what we have now to sort things out (with non-stock releases that need additional hw sorted away from clean C64 stuff). When implementing the easyflash release type we followed the already existing logic with ide64, and dtv etc, which noone opposed before (?). This might have been wrong. Me and Ian coog can together define what flags should be added to which entry-types. And the problem is bigger than this, as demos (and tools etc) can be ntsc-fixed and have intros and be imports just like cracks etc. I would also like a field for what group made the original release of imports do that there is a way to sort them too and avoid having two groups added as releaser for easy access and overview. So before we do small changes we should make a bigger list (which groepaz kindly already did years ago) and implement that. Unfortunately there is only one guy that can do that.
Why can't more people code on CSDb? I've never fully understood that argument tbh.
Yes, I've heard that the database design is a mess and that the code base is somewhat outdated. But still, most coders are not complete imbeciles and working on arcane code we do everyday.. |
