Looking for disk dumpers
As the post states, I'm looking for people from around the globe that have both the time, hardware and experience to dump old disks to d64 images. I know there are some old topics on this but I'm looking to compile a "current" list for an upcoming project.
If you have the spare time to dump disks, I just need your general location around the world to get an idea of the coverage we'll have should this idea get off the ground. I know there are a lot of people out there sitting on disks with absolutely no time to dump them so I'm hoping this may help get the Treasure Chest overflowing again ;)
Thanks!

Sure, I have an Ultimate II and a few 1541s that don't see enough action - also in the Netherlands (southeast) |

It's better than nothing with a Ultimate etc, but if you guys are interested in many rereads and good dumps invest in a IECHost or run Warpcopy, or even the ZoomFloppy or XUM. With Sailor's tools it's good shit. |

I do use Warpcopy with my 1541 Ultimate, as it's the version with Ethernet built in |

Funny as I happen to be in NC myself. ;)
I have Zoom Floppy, SuperCardPro, Greaseweazel, and also a Kryoflux(currently loaned out). So I'm good for almost anything. :) |

Map Updated and filling in nicely...
@mason should I add the rest of the transfer team members to the list as well or is their time limited at the moment?
I'm still looking for some US/Canada guys because transit times/shipping costs, at least here in the US, can be brutal when shipping from coast to coast.
Where are my UK folks at? :)
I have been hearing that shipping times from the UK to parts of EU are pretty bad right now (1 month?) from Vinny of Freeze64. Anyone the can speak to that? From the UK to North Carolina, USA is a week to the day right now which isn't bad at all though this was for small items (Freeze64 and Zzap!64)
Thanks for all the responses so far guys! |
