THE MOVERS Treasure Chest
Hi all ya guyz around here...
We've just started to open our Treasure Chest...
http://rapidshare.com/files/9304647/Hahni-Soft_of_WCS.ZIP.html
This first package are the transferred disks from Hahni Soft of WCS... WCS was just a local group. Jezi got later a member of Strike Force and Ruhrpott Cracker was also in the WCS (but actually we can't remember his handle at that time; we will add him then with his correct handle)...
signing off...

Quote: Would be nice if we had a C64 Scene Storage Site. A place to upload all these collections. I guess I have now around 16 DVDs of C64 collections and I still don't have everyone's collection.
yes i agree and now you know after seeing the dead links why
i posted old but working links. And i'm be sure no one would leave CSDB because of me or would you, Jazzcat ? ;)
But a ftp only wouldn't really help.. As you saw some ftp sites dying.. I think we must have more. Torrents, Emule, Rapidshare, FTP Sites and others, .. And we should do lists like who had what CD / DVD f.e.
No one lives forever...
So if something, someone died we know where we could get it back from.. We keep the stuff alive while spreading around..
Any other ideas ? |

I belive that setting up a ftp server would be the fastest and best way to get peoples collections to a central point. I don't think that using torrents or emule would keep such kind of collections more alive. Throwing up the stuff to usenet could be an idea too, but things there would also only be available for a short time.
So at all i still think that ftp would be the best way, unluckily I'm not able to provide enough bandwith/traffic for it. |

FTP is best. Setting up a reliable site that would last for years with around 100 GB of space would be nice.
Anyway, the 99% version of the Sharkbite collection can be leeched from http://www.scs-trc.net/Sharkbite_Online_Collection.zip (thanks to CBA for the space). This version has an extra 26MB or stuff that was errored in the original link provided earlier.

The Link for doc's stuff still works, so i add them here
again with his text about... :)
As promised here is the whola collection, it contain 401 d64 sides, some works 100% some with errors but its all here. 30mb winrared and 66mb unpacked....
This pack should include something for everyone, here you find stuff that is not yet added to the csdb. demos, tools, cracks, music, gfx, source code etc...

The new update is available for the Ultimate Mag Archive project. This time it will just be a single zip rather than individual downloads from the site itself. The reason for this is that the site is migrating to http://c64.com and I don't want to do too much re-work.
Grab the latest update from:
http://www.scs-trc.net/mags.c64.org_update_5.zip
..also don't forget the other parts to the collection:

Is it just at my end or does someone else also get an error when trying to unzip the latest magazine update? |
