Group id #306 : The Force
I was wondering something about this group. Why is there seperate entries for all the force groups, The Force, The Force, The Force when in reality it's one group? Atleast according to Danny where he in a swap-note on a the force spread disk is talking about their new members in hungary Captain TAS and Freeze and some more new members in australia. And he is also refering to some of the italian members Zagor and Zoris in the note. True one can often read statements like the force italy or the force israel in various productions but I still say it's the same group. |

Quote: didnt know that, google'd a bit seems to be an expression for technical force measurements.
I was always wondering what kind of stupid group name that is.
Please don't take my previous statement serious :) |

Quote: I am at least 100% sure that the Australian group was a seperate entity, and that they and the Israelis merged into one group. I am reasonably sure the same goes for the Italians. So yes, they may have joined one by one, but they already existed as The Force before they did. That's what makes this so complicated ;)
Some information I have recived today says that the force australia was not an seperate entity at all. Some more emails have been sent with the help of jazzcat to former the force members in australia. |

I can confirm that The Force Israel, Italy, and Australia is the same group. Dunno about the Hungarians. |

I must also add that the Italians were the coolest guys to hang with. A lot of humour, and good friends. |

Quote: Hm, you could be right about the Aussie, but the Italians surely joined The Force and didnt have an own group, I knew Gabriel and Zagor/Zoris, I think they were in Gax 777 before joining TF:
That's right! |

Hi its Colwyn/The Force
There are 4 entires as The Force was a name 4 groups used at one time.
I started The Force in 82 and we were very strong up until 88 when australia ceased releasing ozy made games via melbourne house, SSG or SSI
One day in around 88 Danny/TF from Israel contacted me and suggested we merge as we shared the same name and later he signed up some othere in hungray etc i didn't really have anything to do with that.
Any questions ask me i was on the 64 for 15 years |
