CMD RamLink and RamDrive

Hello,
coming up is N0SD0S for CMD RamLink and CMD RamDrive:

Currently we have only implemented loading,
saving will be implemented soon, and we're
looking into how to make it work with irq-loading as well.

I wonder how many here have these devices, and I wonder
if you are willing to test your devices with our new
N0SD0S loader ?

I dont expect a rush of YES! here but i think somone
out there has a different ramlink version than me, and
maybe even a ramdrive.

Btw, the RamLink I have here uses 4mb ram and
its dos version number is:
73, cmd rl dos v2.01,00,00

cheeeeers!

No replies yet I see..
Anyway, we have installed save routines and it's even
working with irq-loading now.

hey, we have nearly every device you can connect to a c64 in our meetingroom, if you have ready-to-run testprograms you could send them to me or copyfault (he is there more often than me).

I used to have two RAMLinks, V1 and V2. But I sold them both :( And I regret it ever since. I have been looking for a new one for quite some time. If anyone have one for sale, leave PM to me :)

Yes, Groepaz is right. I'm sure there are some RLs in our meetingroom. Hmm, About RD I'm not so sure, but I can check that next TUE. It's a pity I didn't see this post yesterday before leaving for the meeting.

Hope we can help.

groepaz & copyfault:
Nice!
Hope you got a CMD RamDrive to test on -
i'm curious if the registers at $de00-$e000 behaves
the same as on a RamLink.

Got to optimize a few things first. I'll mail you a testprogram next week.

Ok, here it is:

http://home.eunet.no/~ggallefo/pics/Ramllink-test.rar

Tests are for native mode only.

Test disk 1:
-------------
This one is for testing irq loading and saving.
Copy these files to your Ramlink/Ramdrive
( Best would be if you copied it to partition 2 or 3 ):

"ramlink test[n0]"
"nd13------------"

Load and run the first file and when the demo
starts a text screen with instructions will be shown.

Test Disk 2:
------------
This one only works on Ramlink/Ramdrive
it's a test for job code loading.
Copy the 2 files to your Ramlink/Ramdrive
(try a different partition number than the defaukt one
if you can) then run it.
Press space to load and decrunch 32 text pages.
When it loops you are done.

Yes, we have to say 'sorry' for not testing the whole thing yesterday. There much too much going on at our meeting. What stopped me most from testing was that I met Menace/TOM, a former group member, after +/-10 years. _If_ I have the chance I will do some test in this week. We will keep you informed.

One last comment: unfortunatly I remembered correctly that we do _not_ have a RamDrive in the meeting room.

My BBS "Godland" was fastes bbs in Europe for one year. Its was 1992 or 1993

Ramlink with Jiffydos+CMD-40 (so fast like the MMC64)

C*Base was running on a 1581 with Jiffy Dos

I paid 1000 mark (500 Euro) for the HD and 150 Euro for the Ramlink ! Much money at this time

The number of the BBS was in this AFL-intro (europe BBS)

Parsec +8F
