Event id #3243 : BCC Party #17
Some 6 more weeks!
Time for some more info!
In a nutshell:
- Free admission, but donations welcome! <- as usual
- Limited amount of space -> 70 guests -> Please REGISTER
- Even less space for hardware -> Tell us in the registry form if you bring CRT or only Laptop or nothing
- Compos will be streamed
- Officially we can not allow sleeping at the party place due to German fire safety regulations
- Free coffee, tea, water around the clock
- Czech and local beer at the C-base bar at fair prices
- various international takeaways and restaurants just around the corner
- Smoking outdoors only -> don't make more noise and terror than necessary
- In general, just be nice guys - not only but especially when you're dealing with C-Base Staff or BCC orgas
Bring:
- power strips
- extension cord
- C64 / laptop / ...
- cash for the bar
- optional: meat for BBQ
DON'T bring
- pets
- boomboxes
- party lights
- Schnapspumpe
- own alcoholic drinks

meanwhile also features a registry form (scroll a little) in German AND English language.
Once you've registered, you'll be automatically directed to Wuhu.
You'll then get a votekey soonish (half-automated, so don't worry if it takes half a day or something).
Competitions:
We are going to offer pretty much the same categories as last time, i.e.
- C64 Demo
- C64 One-Filed-Demo
- C64 Gfx (any C64 gfx that ain't PETSCII)
- C64 PETSCII Gfx
- C64 Cover Music
- C64 Original Music
- C64 Games
- C64 Mixed (stuff that needs anything that can't be considered C64 vanilla, such as FM-YAM, C64 DTV, You-name-it)
- Other 8-bit-Platforms (be aware you should contact us early to make sure we can show your entry,
we've got a lot of hardware but we need to know what you bring yourself or want us to provide,
showing a mere .MP4 video should really be the total emergency exception).
Depending on the amount of entries for a category, we might decide to split or merge categories.
All entries might be streamed and will be made accessible on CSDb.dk after the event.
We reserve the right to refuse entries, e.g. if they clearly violate national or international law,
so no pornographic content, no nazi stuff - use common sense.
All deadlines will be Sat 29th of Apr 2023, high noon, 11:59:59 am CEST.
As usual, remote entries will be welcome.
All competitors (live or remote) need a votekey for wuhu party & voting system.
If you don't come to the party but want to compete, just PM Thunder.Bird or me and you'll get that votekey,
along with the link to wuhu registration, so you can create, upload, update your entries yourself till the deadline.
Prizes (if there are any) won't be shipped, though,
but given to groupmates or if there are none present, passed to the next rank.
Looking forward to party again with you like at BCC #14 and the years before!

A little less than another week till deadline.
-> *bump*
Not too late to register spontaneously to attend in persona, some room left.
Of course Berliners can also come without being registered, but in case of overcrowded house, might be turned away.
Also registering helps us planning, so if you wanna come, be a good boy/girl/whatever and register :)

PS: Remote competitors, keep upping your entries! If you haven't got the votekey required for upping on wuhu, PM me or Thunder.Bird. And it would be cool and safer to get the key before the party's started... Thanks! |

Another thing: If you want to promote upcoming Retro parties, feel free to mail slides to ryker[ÄT]freenet.de (we'll take care of the format, can be anything from 320x200 .PNG to HD)
