Sometimes it _is_ kinda both (or even more) and so far we can't set more than 1 category and leave such borderline cases for the releasers to decide. If CD&FLT think demo nails it best, then it does!

I assumed you tried to be funny, but do you know that after all that period of time I am still being harassed by people like mojzesh in the polish c64 forums? Being called a thief, a plagiarist, a cheater and more? Do you know how it feels to try and learn to do something new (coding) after being in the scene for 30 years, and then receive so much hate and vitriol from the people you assumed would apprieciate what you do? Excuse me for not finding it funny anymore. I have always given all my heart to this scene, only in the last 16 months I found out how toxic it is and for how many people I am not welcome here. |

What a weird reaction to Krills statement... he just stated a fact. I am sure he wasn't thinking of you or your demo AT ALL (nor tried to be funny).
Polish scene seems to be a weird place indeed. |

It’s not only Polish scene. We just released a demo on another platform and nobody gave a fuck what was animated and what not, they just enjoyed and appreciated the demo. Imagine that ;)

The topic is about the demo Danko 50 and not just your specific question, so the thread must be left open.
I suggest you don't give a damn about what others think. Do what you like. There will be always someone that have different opinions in any case. |

You got that wrong. The database simply can't properly reflect what it is. "Music Collection" (or "Graphics Collection") are "Sub types" of "Demo", they are not properties that contradict each other. There are many other cases where a similar problem exists - but we have to live with it, because that's just how it is in csdb (and will not change until someone steps up and produces a better system). |
