Mp3 to sid

Is there a way to convert mp3s to sids?

One way would be to export the .sid file as a .wav file using Sidplay 2/w, then use your favorite audio encoder to convert to mp3. Not sure about any sid players that do the job directly though.

Try Manual Converter 0.9. Unfortunately my evaluation copy has expired.

mp3-->midi-->modplugtracker-->type in selected notes in your fave sidcomposer, create sounds.

there are various mp3->midi - common are they dont work very good.

It's quite interesting to read such question after asking for MP3 of the song that someone asked me to convert to C64. What should be appropriate reaction now. Should I feel insulted or get reconciled with the fact that distribution of human intelligence is strictly conforming the gaussian curve and there is nothing we can do, except of getting used to it.

This or that. Everyone knows that all you need to convert anything to SID is to get enough monkeys to do the job. (or one Timbaland).

There is no replacement for people. Best not to be so reactive. Find out what is going on first. Look before you leap.

Yeah yeah I'm sorry. Maybe you should try to write the question with all details necessary. Somoene might be able find different route for the solution of the problem.
