Impossible to find!!!
I'm trying to find an old game that I would have played back in 1985/86 (may have been made prior to that).. I had an amber (monochrome) monitor at the time, so hard to describe much.
Game featured a long-haired neanderthal type guy - starting on the right of the screen. He has a long club.. Seemed it may have been HiRes (?). I also recall it being glitchy and possibly a PAL release.
Also; possibly not an English title (maybe french or some other european thing..)
Any feedback would be amazing. |

Thanks for the suggestion; sadly, no.. I came across that title in my search as well.
It's a somewhat 'darker' title (not so cartoonish).
I seem to recall somber music as well. |

on a stonewheel and driving down a hill,
but did not find it in my collection, because
of missing name.

is what you are searching for? but the game is from
1983? or so. caveman ugh olympics seems to be to
new. yo maybe you yhould serarch for caveman.
i found a couple of hits in my collection for
caveman. but do not remember :-((
the above mentioned man on stonewheel was really

Well... may as well add my request while we're at it.
This game is basically a Shoot'em DOWN game, NOT Shoot'em up/SEUCK crap. It was some sort of down-arrow figure that you constantly fire bullets downward and dodge objects, and I think you could only move left and right. The walls (scrolling upwards) also changed shape on both sides.
If you hit an object or enemy, the scrolling went into warp speed and the figure shook left and right for about 5 seconds, with a random sawtooth sound effect.... and then it stops and "dies".
It was a very simple game from 1983/1984/maybe-1985.
Any help on the name would be VERY appreciative to me. :) Last time I played it was over 30 years ago. |

That sounds like a magazine type-in (scrolling up that way is very easy even in BASIC) |

It could well have been a type-in/PD game, but I do remember it had smooth scrolling so it certainly would have been written in assembler to handle IRQ and so on.
There isn't much else I can describe other than maybe the sound effects ... a lot of it used the sawtooth wave. Oh and I THINK it had a starfield as well, but nothing fancy. |

After some searching on GB64... think I may have found the game I'm requesting:
"Sideral" - https://gb64.com/game.php?id=19352&d=18&h=0
Unforunately there isn't a download on there and surprisingly there are no releases/cracks of this here on CSDb. ... unless I find it on my own disks at some point, anyone got an official copy of it? |
