Release id #129317 : VICE 2.4
What's wrong with sound playback? It has serious problems e.g. with filtered, silent sounds. AFAIK real machine doesn't behave like that ;] |

All carts from http://rr.pokefinder.org should be working out of the box without the need to "fix" the cart header. For anything missing from the archives people are obliged to mail me anyhow!
Anyhow that change was not done to render most of your crt harddisk collection inoperable but to fix/enforce what was defined before appropriately. |

I don't know if this is some Bug in Vice, and maybe not that Important because anyone can do Screendumps. But in the version I am using V1.19 and the V2.4 when I want to do a snapshot, of a Multiscreener, and try and aim on the right spot, then I see that 1 char is gone from the left and right side of the graphic, the KOALA's are fine, but with a Snapshot in Vice I get not the full image as snapshot, but with 1 char on both sides off. Not sooo important, because we all can do snapshots, best way of showing screen1 in a Multiscreener is snapshotting the source Koala, instead of my Multiscreener. Like said,
not Important. ;D |

M8, you made my day! :D:D:D It's normal that during horizontal scroll coder usually switches into 38 column mode to hide appearing/disappearing chars. Scroll routine is supposed to work like this! :D You've never noticed the thing? |

Jammer: I thought it was a Bug in Vice, don't know much about code issue's in Multiscreeners, so it's solved now. Sorry for getting you to laugh out loud, as I didn't knew about it. ;) |

I don't know why I feel compelled to comment, as it's been answered.
JSL... When scrolling anything on the screen, it's "normal" to not have 8 pixels on either side of the screen because of $d016. The same, OR WORSE, will happen when scrolling up/down, as FLD ($d011) is used (VSP is even worse, I imagine - never tried it purposely).
I, for one, don't find your question funny because I know you only do graphics. BUT... I do see why Jammer thought it was funny. Thinking way back, y'all should have been around when I first tried to display a multicolor hires screen. THAT was funny ;)
You can test the theory if you want.
Poke 53270,0 - You will see what happens. The 0 can be any number, but most coders use 0-7. |
