Group id #306 : The Force
I was wondering something about this group. Why is there seperate entries for all the force groups, The Force, The Force, The Force when in reality it's one group? Atleast according to Danny where he in a swap-note on a the force spread disk is talking about their new members in hungary Captain TAS and Freeze and some more new members in australia. And he is also refering to some of the italian members Zagor and Zoris in the note. True one can often read statements like the force italy or the force israel in various productions but I still say it's the same group. |

Quote: The Hungarians were definately part of the real The Force, the makers of the homepage probably forgot about them.
@CRD: Fully agreement to your statement about living in Israel is dangerous, but could you explain the conclusion why only few members from there would join a C64 group for that reason? I dont understand your logic.
My bad phrasing has kicked in again :-P
I should of said: "Members WOULDN'T of joined a c64 in Israel BECAUSE of life threatening issues in Israel, i.e. bombs."
This may or may not been the case though as most of that particular danger only happens in the capital of Israel, where Daniel and the rest would of lived outside the capital (although their addresses are unknown.) hence concentrating on better things to do, such as import/crack games and make demos for the c64. Israel is quite a complicated country unfortunately. |

One more thing: I still think that all these 'the Forces' are different groups, with members of one version ultimately joining another version. So I wouldn't delete the entries. |

they arent different groups. The Australian, the Italian and the Hungarian sections joined one by one. I'm not 100% sure about the Aussies, but the other two surely.
@CRD: Okay, I see. But that's surely no reason, cos Israel inhabitants have more or less get used to everyday threats of Islamic suicide bombers. Of course there's influence on people's lives but that doesnt mean people dont enjoy them. |

I am at least 100% sure that the Australian group was a seperate entity, and that they and the Israelis merged into one group. I am reasonably sure the same goes for the Italians. So yes, they may have joined one by one, but they already existed as The Force before they did. That's what makes this so complicated ;) |

Hm, you could be right about the Aussie, but the Italians surely joined The Force and didnt have an own group, I knew Gabriel and Zagor/Zoris, I think they were in Gax 777 before joining TF: |

Yes, but what you don't realize is that 'Gax' is the Italian word for 'Force' ;) |

didnt know that, google'd a bit seems to be an expression for technical force measurements.
I was always wondering what kind of stupid group name that is. |
