No proper crack for psi-5 latest version?

Is it really so that no one has cracked latest ntsc release of PSI-5 Trading company which has 4 missions instead of just 3 as found in pal version?

I hope that those releases are just missing here :)

Does anyone know more about the release of that four-mission version? I have an NTSC original and probably got it new in the US around 1987 and it's just the usual three missions.

I guess you were right, though I have heard people saying how easy it is to crack with tools like vice around :D

So it seems that rapidlock 1 - crackscene 0

sad :(

Well played! :)

While ripping the files I was wondering if it could be 1-sided by compressing the files. The main demo program probably had enough differences to the main game that some one-the-fly patching wouldn't be practical.

EasyFlash version shouldn't to be to difficult either considering the two simple paths of files loaded depending if it's the demo or the game.

I started on an easyflash version also. The game doesn't like carts much so we'll see when/if I can get it done.

The demo mode could certainly be put back in that way. But honestly, for the disk version, the load times on the demo would have made it miserable to have imho.

The game doesn't need to know that there is a cart in place. Stop the IRQ, load your data, kill the cart and continue IRQ return.

You're right, it wasn't the game, it was my method :)
Easyflash version imminent.
