that calls for a "non petscii" tag! |

Funny, given that the problem (if there is any) is rather that the original title *is* written with petscii chars (as on the screenshot of the release) and that csdb doesn't handle *that*. :) |

What Frantic said. This is as close to the original title CSDb can do. |

There is nothing wrong with this title. It is creative expression. Seeing such a title from time to time is refreshing. |

Does this call for a CSS font that includes C64 petscii chars, and thereby a whole different layout for csdb?! Yes, it does! Doesn't it? I mean...no? really? |

You'd search for Goto80 or 4mat or ilkke anyways, then find that title :)
I mean, i have no idea what it's even pronounced (and i guess neither do its creators). Maybe something like "crawling PETSCII guy", who knows. |

Quoting Frantic... the problem (if there is any) ... will be dealt with from now on by putting any funny characters stuff in the AKA field and any expression using real characters in the Entry Name (=title) field.
Would be great if users help doing so whenever they detect stuff like that.
Cheers,
your friendly Mod Team |

"real characters" is expressed somewhat bad :)
Title field should always be filled with ASCII characters for indexers, webapi and search engines sake. |

Should, maybe, but is that a must? And as for searching, CSDb would search both the title and the AKA fields for a given name, no? :) |

Quote:ASCII = "real" ! :D
Krill strictly speaking it doesn't matter big deal as long as both "NAME" and "AKA" are field are properly filled (one of them ASCII), that's what I wanted to express whhen I quoted
Quoting Frantic... the problem (if there is any) ...
But we've decided we won't gonna have it anymore in "NAME" (title).
No matter what anyone thinks about that, it ain't a biggie, is it? So please just BEHAVE ;D |

Just for clarification, i quoted South Park, ofcourse, and was being ironical - to extend the joke over to the topic of character sets.
PETSCII is doing a pretty good jerb, by the way! |
