Group entry was added by a member.
You never know, but lets just assume they are probably aware of the correct spelling of their own groupname. |

Hmm.. didn't know that. Actually, didn't notice until a few years ago.
Want to share your insights?
Are you implying that Unknow was not on purpose?

What handle(s) did you have and how did you come up with it/them?
I was known as Bagder, which initially was meant to be the animal but somehow I got it all spelled wrong and I left it like this. It made me more unique.

How did you come up with your alias ?
Well, during my earliest days I used the handle D$85 (slightly modified initials with the year of my first 64) but when we created the group Horizon, I wanted a name that could be pronounced more easily ;). I used a dictionary to come up with an idea, and I ended up with this. It is a spelling mistake, but when I found out I just thought of it as a cool feature!

Don't know about Unknow, and obviously didn't know about Bagder either (even though I have a hand written statement from Daniel that he chose the name on purpose, guess stories change). |

Unknow easy to explain.
he is a french speaking belgian (a walloon) and their english is just not that good. we all know french speaking people have a hard time speaking/writing english, that's nothing new.
so I'm pretty sure he thought he had it right when he started to call himself unknow, not knowing it's supposed to be unknown. |

Or maybe he just wanted to be known as Unknow and not unknown? ;) |

Un`know´
v. t. 1.
1. To cease to know; to lose the knowledge of.
2. To fail of knowing; to be ignorant of.
It's a word, totally possible that is the correct spelling.
