Release id #46986 : Jeff Smart Radio Show

I wonder if there still exists a tape with a copy of this radio show somewhere? I would really like "Venlo live" and the "very strange noises"! :-)

wrong move, imho. mp3 files don't belong to csdb.

Nice find!!!
IMHO it is fine to host those mp3s here, as they are additional documents, directly related to the C64 binary. I would compare it with pdf manuals for tools for example - pdf is certainly no C64 format, but in certain cases it is ok to have them.

Agreed, they are part of the C64 scene, just like paper mags, stickers, disk sleeves etc.

That entry is for a c64 demo, not for the actual radio show. They are 2 distinct things and IMO unrelated. We have removed mp3 and video recording of tunes & demos already.
Then do whatever you want, I'm just pointing out it's a clear violation made by who should keep this place clean.

The Goal of CSDb:
"To gather as much information as possible about the C64 scene. The sceners, the groups, the releases and events, and as much information about these as possible."

Should this go as well? Venlo Meeting Video Footage? I think these add A LOT of info and are part of the c64 scene legacy.

I agree they should be moved to a separate entry (I first thought of them as "additions" rather than earning an entry of their own (like disksleeves that often are uploaded together with the demo in question instead of in an entry of their own), but I think you are right). You are correct there. I would also prefer not to be publically critizised by a fellow moderator. I'm not perfect, unlike you. ;) And it's not like it can't be changed/fixed.

I cleaned it up now, as I am supposed to do. Dunno why you didn't do it, as you are supposed to as well. The show in question can be found here separately now: Jeff Smart Radio Show.

I didn't do it myself but I explained here why I found it wrong, if it did it unliaterally without saying anything I would have get surely some protests and got the usual insults for being too harsh etcetc.
It's the usual situation where whatever I do or don't do something I get questioned.
I am even sick of having to explain why I do things.

No worries. :) I feel the same. Now we can go and drink a beer or two. Seems we solved this?
