Release id #108870 : Cosmic Cruiser +37D

I think someone is confused how the database entries work here?

All of these added releases today appear to be the work of Hackersoft but somehow they're "released by" Commodore Is Awesome

Checking the member list of Commodore Is Awesome it doesn't show Vincenzo Mainolfi as a member, he is only a member of Hackersoft

Besides that, the entries have zero credits and the website entry should be for the release not the website of the group involved. Finally, all of the entries are entered in the category "Game", clearly incorrect if they're cracks w/trainers.

Booty +35D by Commodore Is Awesome (23/2-2012) (Game)
Blue Max +41D by Commodore Is Awesome (29/10-2011) (Game)
Blinky's Scary School +29D by Commodore Is Awesome (20/10-2011) (Game)
Blagger +31D by Commodore Is Awesome (24/12-2011) (Game)
Big Mac +11D by Commodore Is Awesome (8/8-2011) (Game)
Armourdillo +11D by Commodore Is Awesome (21/9-2011) (Game)
Arkanoid +19D by Commodore Is Awesome (28/10-2011) (Game)
Arc of Yesod +16D by Commodore Is Awesome (22/10-2011) (Game)
Cosmic Cruiser +37D by Commodore Is Awesome (18/5-2012) (Game)

Spotted the same. Also, the release dates seems to be wrong, atleast for Arkanoid (says 20th or 28th of january 2012 in the screenshot, but listed as 28/10-2011 in the entry).

Seems all fixed now. Hopefully some lesson learnt for the next uploads. ;-)

Exactly the reason I didn't fix the issues myself. I'm guessing similar problems will pop-up in the future since nobody notified Kitty of the problems with the entries?

That isn't part of my responsibilities as a user here, that is a job for the staff.

actually its _not_ the job of the staff to supervise entries created by users. and if you care about these entries, notifying the one who created them first is obviously the first thing to do, before you go and complain in a forum thread. unless pointing out someones mistakes in a public thread is more important to you than getting proper database entries ofcourse.

Myself (Kitty) and Commodore is Awesome are involved with promoting and releasing Hackersoft releases. Vinny told me that he left CSDb for reasons I'm not going to discuss here but I'm sure the Moderators know why. This is the reason I was adding his releases to CSDb under the Commodore is Awesome group name 'as instructed by Vinny'. Also I wasn't aware Vinny's releases were still available on CSDb, as he requested that his account on CSDb was to be deleted and his releases to be removed, this was obviously ignored and someone who is clearly not part of Hackersoft continued to add his releases anyway despite his request.
Yes I may have added them in the wrong section, however they got deleted before I could even attempt to make any edits.

I have recently spoken with Vinny and he has requested that 'all' his Crazy Hacks old and upcoming are too be released by Commodore is Awesome Group [C.I.A]

Please can this be resolved asap thankyou.

What's released is released, this is a database of existing c64 scene stuff, and it's added by anyone who has the stuff, there's is no need to ask permission (most of the stuff added is by guys that are not in the scene anymore, if not around at all) and there is no unreleasing once it's added. Best way to not be ashamed in future of own stuff is not releasing it at all.

It's got nothing to do with being 'ashamed' that's totally irrelevant to what I wrote, whatever happened in the past with Vinny and CSDb should stay in the past and if a creator requests something removed from the database, imo I would expect their wishes to be fulfilled, that's only polite. Vinny has now been added to our group and all new releases will be released by Commodore is Awesome. I would like to request that Vinnys older releases be moved over to us that is unless it is a CSDb rule of some sort. If you want your databases accurate then all Hackersoft releases should be under the new group.

thankyou, Kitty.

His old releases are released by Hackersoft, that can't be changed. Any new releases can be made a "CIA" release tho, but will be confusing if he includes Hackersoft intros on the front.
