I feel its time to pay tribute to our masters, with modern versions of their preferred tunes!
I have created this event:

Classic SID Composers Remix Challenge 2015
You must do an own version of one of the following composers:
Rob Hubbard
Ben Daglish
Martin Galway
Fred Gray
Mark Cooksey
Tim Follin
David Whittaker
It's your own choise.
Pump up them classics with modern house/step/grunge/orchestra!
Deadline 2 months... should be enough.
Rules: no requirement to use classic composer sounds.

First of all, do you mean SID remakes or creating tracks outisde of Commodore? |

Yeah, PC remixes do not belong here, hence I assume you mean SIDs ;) This orchestra/grunge hint is kinda misleading. |

If I remix classic sid composer it doesn't imply that my remix is supposed to be sid as well. :P |

So I take an existing tune by your fellow masters above and make a remix or own version of it? Kool :D:D
BTW, why isn't Charles Deenen in there, he's the reason I became interested in making music on c-64
If you already made up your mind about this event, it's okay
