Group id #2225 : Noble Order of Thieves [fake rebuild]
Someone changed this entry to be called a "fake rebuild". I personally helped in the resurrection of this group and did 90% of the NTSC fixes this group released. At the time no one mentioned to me that the group was rebuilt. I was under the impression that this was a new group, until recently. The founder of the rebuilt group was Coldrake who was a legitimate member of the original Noble Order of Thieves when he used the handle Wingman . All the members of the rebuilt group took it seriously as being a real group. Both entries of the original and rebuilt group have drastically different stats and memberlist. Archive information from both entries is important. I have no doubt that the rebuilt group was authentic. The only thing in question here is what exactly constitutes a "Fake Rebuild"? |

Hm, I would say it is only fake if the rebuild is done by someone who had little or nothing to do with the original group, and/or did it against the explicit will of founding members of the original group. Would that be an appropriate definition? Then I guess this should be labelled just as "rebuild". |

Were there actually NTSC groups he *wasn't* ever in? |

After Coldrake reformed the group, he recruited people to join who were famous. Famous sceners such as Technique and Mandrake joined but the group disbanded before these guys had a chance to work on any releases for the group. The rebuilt NOT was a shining star of prestige for but a brief period of time. |

There is no proof that such sceners as Mandrake, Technique, and The Green Griffon returned and joined this group. If you can point to some actual proof that would be good. |
