Basic rules
0. As title of compo says. It's compo of remix and covers - any creative approach to the original material.
1. Max 1 tune per musician. Other attempts will go to "released outside compo section" you decide which one. If you make another tune. You can replace previous entry by new tune. You can't undo this later.
2. Results will be based on CSDB votes. Voting will be closed on 30.11.2019 23.59.
3. Silent and GFX entries not allowed. We know that some of you might call that an improvement over the original song, but no. You can't do that.

Hm. I don't get the voting concept. I just made sure that I voted on all entries except my own - if CSDb votes are even counted (?) ... I'd say: let your kids decide ;-)
Anyway: Was really nice too have so much good creative outcome in this "fun compo" :-) |

Spider, you are right. I will Just check for self votes (I don't expect any anyway ;-) There are too few votes (about 20-30) per entry and if I removed everyone who participated that would probably generate completely different results. Also I didn't find any anomalies anywehre. So results wont differ much from the CSDB ratings it seems. ;-)

Oh noooo, for all my talk above about finding CreaMD's rules easy to read, I completely missed that the voting deadline was the same as the entry deadline. I have disenfranchised myself :'(
Ah well, I wasn't going to make much of a difference it seems. Must admit, I thought Dane's entry was a clear leader right up to the point I listened to Shogoon's Prelude & Fugato, which was just incredible. A well deserved win!
CreaMD, your kids have excellent taste.
Thanks to all the entrants, it's been quite a ride listening to them all today. I'll get my ratings in over the next day or so in any case. |

Entry deadline = Voting deadline seems a little silly, however if we take into account that there WAS a last minute entry ^^
