Release id #868 : Torture 2

I scanned this disk sleeve, says:

PADUA
TORTURE 2
INCOMPREHENSIBLE
OR: THE CHAINSAW'S BACK

https://pics.cancan.fi/upload/2025/03/23/20250323003034-5c35beb..

Any idea what's the chainsaw reference?

offtoppic:

please add the scan to the release, and also disk cover credit.

ontopic: no idea about the chainsaw, but try PMing Anonym, he is around sometimes.

Sounds like the name of a BBS to me.

Yeah I think the chainsaw reference was just since we related it to "Torture" somehow :)

Thanks for scanning the cover, I think the back had an address of a swapper on it, right? I believe it was done by Creat, but I'm not 100% sure.

Ahaa, thanks for the info!

IIRC there was nothing interesting in the back, just a tiny "PADUA" stamp that you can kind of see shining thru the paper on top.

The sleeve was found in a stash of floppies of a non-scener friend of mine; I picked up my scanner and paid him a visit last weekend.

I'll submit the scan to CSDB as requested.

Torture 2 Cover

I left the release date and party empty, was this released at the party as well? Maybe you could fill in the rest, anonym?

I believe it was released at the party or when we mailed out the demo, I can't recall, sorry.

The cover was indeed done by Creat , he confirmed it.

The version I have definitely has The Chief 's address on it :) I wonder how your non-scener friend got the cover.

I see. There may have been an address in the back, I can't remember for sure. Seems I didn't consider it scan-worthy. :(

My friend says he bought a stash of a several hundred floppies around 20 years ago from someone involved in the Amiga scene.
