What's going on here, I can't seem to update the screenshot of this release? It asks me if I want to replace it with a better one (YES), then I navigate to the png, upload and I get asked again if I want to replace it with a better one... |

It seems to be a general problem, also happened with the Dragon picture released on the same compo. The problem persists also in IE (I'm usually on Firefox).
Can someone confirm or is the problem on my side? |

Hrm, as Jox pointed out to me in PM it may have been the image size and indeed that was it. For some reason Artweaver creates incredibly bloated PNG files, so I went back to the old Demodungeon screenshot routine going like this:
1. Create screenshots in CCS64
2. Batch rename and convert to GIF with Irfanview
3. Batch optimize and remove unused colours with Gif Animator 4
4. Convert to PNG with Exorzist.
The resulting PNGs are on average half as big as the ones directly created with Artweaver.
Perff, would it be possible to get some feedback if the size limit was exceeded? |
