straight from YOUR playlist

if you encounter a piece of sound so great you want to hang yourself for not being able to write something of similar quality...

if you think a certain song/tune/symphony contains some unusually awesome elements...

Perhaps an obvious choice but I like it nevertheless. Interesting harmonies and lots of arpeggiated runs.

"St. Luke's Passion" - rather long and complex, but definitely worth a listen. a masterpiece of 20th century music if you ask me.

Mike Oldfield live. Somehow I hear same vibes in many 80's sids by certain british sid musicians.

Also, Pekka Pohjola plays bass on that concert. I highly recommend listening to all of his production. Progressive and Jazz.
