Event image upload error?

I'm trying to add an image to Transmission64 and can't even upload the same images we had on previous events, like ID 3071
or

It shows this error:
Upload Error.

Please check that the file you want to upload is not larger than the 100000 byte limit.

But the file size is: 18,646 bytes for example

faced sth similar some weeks ago,
if filesize is ruled out,
it _might_ be about ratio/resolution
please try again with a downscaled picture

error prompt could be more helpful anyway, however

Thanks, I'll try. The funny thing is that it's the same image that we used before. I wonder if it's checking for duplicates.
