You have followed an external link to vote. THIS IS NOT NICE!
I'm trying to vote for http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=38569 but I keep getting a 'You have followed an external link to vote. THIS IS NOT NICE!' message. Even if I open a new tab in Firefox, surfs to the CSDB mainpage, enters the page and tries to vote - I can't. Why's that?!
Perhaps it's not NICE voting for crap like that, but I still want to vote. |

It works on a standard installation of Firefox, so you have to bother now =)

Oxidy, do you use a proxy or something else that blocks the referer header?

No proxy that I know of. I'm at work and have no insight in any firewall configuration, or anything else regarding the internet connection for that matter.
However, I can vote from home, which I've done. So that settles it for me. |

I personally never had the problem but Perff told someone it's his firewall... he disabled it "for a second" and the vote was counted... maybe your firewalls filter out some http-referer information... So check teh settings properly coz its NO GOOD to disable that csdb-"protection" since scripted votecheating would be easier then...
