German CPU Magazine 1983
Score one for the C64 programmer...
Judging by the picture, they are playing "Moon Patrol" (also from 1983).

Judging by the picture, they are playing "hiding stick" (older game), while the computer is disconnected. |

Judging by the picture, they're playing Melonmania, and the idea for Hot Rod just came to the guy's mind. Hopefully he won't get a Ball Fever later. |

Judging by the picture, they're playing fuck all because the power cord isn't plugged in. :_)

Judging by the picture, the power cord will be plugged in quite soon (or it is already plugged in, judging by their face expressions). |

Judging by the picture they have 2 power cords. And they are playing dress up, though that wig on the other guy looks kinda lame. |

Apparently, he needs a c64 in order to get hard (judging from the looks of the lady next to him). |

Judging by the picture, these two should be jogging off some of their computerside snacks. |

Indeed that is the funniest cover on CPU magazine I saw so far. 12/83 and 9/83 would likely gather similar comments while in 1984 they really lost.
Wonder if they ran out of cover worthy chicks :)
PS: Page 56 has old issues listed - bad scan quality, but it will give ppl an idea
:)
The magazine title deserves special attention as well - "Computer Programmiert zur Unterhaltung" would translate roughly to "Computers Programmed for Entertainment" and there ARE quite a few (badly printed) listings on the issues.

"Moon Patrol", why not Jumpman Junior?, and if so: where did that joystick go?. |
