Hehe.. yes.. He has been the first to do so a number of times. So.. will people bow before HCL, as if he was the king, or will they boldly take "his place"? ;)

Jackasser... HCL... Do I sense some BD-internal fights for power? Is there still an Instinct fraction and a Booze fraction within the group (BD)?

Well ok, Jackasser was first.. but if you check closely, i'm #1, and he is #0 :D.

Perhaps that proves the internal conflicts within BD, so what? It's no secret the In(stinc)t guys only joined for toilet cleaning and booze supply. We even meake use of the "RUT-avdraget" :).

HCL is correct. Former Instinct is nowadays the slave labour force within BD.

HCL: Ok.. RUT-avdraget... So that means that you actually pay the instinct guys to work for BD?

@Frantic: Hmm, you got me there.. Of course we don't pay them, they pay us! Then they get the "RUT", which they also pay us. Of course :).

Hmm.. this is circa two weeks after the expected birth of my second kid, the so-called re-release. I wonder what my wife might say when I bring up the issue of LCP (-:.

There's always people dropping out at the last minute, even when registration fills in a couple of hours (see e.g. Datastorm 2011 recently, also some X parties come to mind where there was always some free places left in the end :)) so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

@Carrion: WTF you mean they can take your place? You ain't coming? :(

Is there some warmup-party/gathering somewhere in the area (Lund/Malmö/Copenhagen)? I'd love to travel one day earlier and get in the mood properly... :)

Two weeks left until LCP!

At the moment we're looking for people who are willing to act as "Demo DJ's" on LCP. This isn't as demanding as it sounds. All it involves is to lean back and show some demos on the bigscreen. It doesn't matter if it is only for 10 minutes or if it is for 2 hours. As long as it gets rid of a blank staring bigscreen everything it is just a big bonus!

Just send me a msg here on CSDb if you can imagine doing this. ...or just bring some demos to LCP and tell me that you are in the mood for some demo watching on the bigscreen during the party itself and the big screen will be all yours for a while. Show mainstream demos, LSD porn demos, odd tools, all demos by unknown group XYZ, or whatever. It's up to you!

I would guess that the projector does not have scart. I am not sure though. Please ask Bepp about that (he is a user on CSDb too and he will bring the projector for LCP).

Some updates to the LCP website today regarding food and alcohol on LCP.

http://lcp.c64.org

In general I think it is a good idea to keep an eye on the LCP site now. All updates will be noted in the news section so if you check that one you won't miss anything if you know you've read the rest of the site already. If you think some important information is missing, just let me know.
