PSID V1, still in the field?
I've refactored sid2prg.py and extended it by single file conversion capability.
Now I'm in search of v1 PSIDs so I can test all code branches.
I tried several tunes from HVSC and only found v2/v3 PSIDS/RSIDS.
Can somebody give me a link, please? |

Thank you very much. Actually, I have my dropbox login not at hand. Can you leave the link open for a day or so? I think I can download the files tonight. |

look down in the login popup: "or continue to download" without logging in =)
I'm with you that it's totally stupid and unneeded to ask for a login if it just gives the option to download anyway. |

Sorry, I was at work at 3pm and a little bit distracted by the things which were higher prioritized. So I missed the "or continue to download" without logging in option. ;)
I know, it's stupid. But thank you anyway.
Now I got the files. |

AFAIR there was some dutch guy releasing psid (.lha/Amiga) packages before there was HVSC - cannot find back those archives or remember the release handle though.
However, those should be v1 as well. |

perhaps you mean NemeSIDs collection? the guy behind that was from Iceland, but the rest of the description fits.

I've uploaded the complete NemeSIDs collection here: Nemesis1's PlaySID Collection
We might want to split it since the collection started on 29-12-1994 and the last update is from 23-06-1996.
Before NemeSIDs collection, there was the C64 Ripp Off Music Compilation (A.K.A. RippOff) from Jan Harries which started around July 1993. |

https://ftp.pokefinder.org/tmp/newmusic.lha is what I found back meanwhile - PMed to Monte already.
Nemesis1 stuff could what I have thought of. Still not sure :)
PS: and HUMMM - dont think that such a release page is sufficient, Fred ... still thx for the uploads even if someone cares to change it somehow. |

Hahahaha that reminds me of how pissed The Shark was about me mid90s when i sent him a ton of SIDs i found on the internet.... not knowing it was basically the Nemesids collection. And he sorted them out all manually because no tools existed yet.
sorry :) |

Added a zip with the "complete" collection in one zip - just removed a few equal binaries and depacked for my collection only. Shortcut for the Dls :) |

C64 Ripp Off Music Collection, Volume 5
C64 Ripp Off Music Collection, Volume 6
