Looking for rarer Fastload/Utility cartridges

For an upcoming release, i'd like to support as many as possible of those cartridges that are still in actual use.

Of specific importance to me are those that successfully autostart this production Prawda #3 with fastload enabled.

The "rarer" cartridges (their .crt images, actually) i'm looking for are not in this list (but still satisfying above constraint):

Action Replay MK6
Final Cartridge III
Super Snapshot v5
Atomic Power
Action Cartridge 6+
WarpSpeed v2

So, you want images of the above? The sentence is a little odd.

No, i have those images, and the listed carts are already supported. :) I'd like images from carts not in this list.

Right, I thought I parsed that sentence wrong :)

I should have .crt images of all carts VICE emulates, do you have those?

I'm really not sure, but isn't there some fastload cartridge that is quite common in Poland but nowhere else...? I don't remember its name, but isn't it black box or something like that?

Is that the one with a synth etc?

Not sure. I never used it myself. Anyway, the name did indeed seem to be black box, as I realized after searching for that term on here. Not sure if many people actually use it anymore though.

I have a few images of it, v3, v4, v8, v9. Weird carts, and all in Polish, so not very useful to me.

Alright. In one of the comments for one of the "black boxes" Raf wrote:

v2/v3 and v4 were more popular than v8.

Might be useful information. Dunno.

I tried KCS Powercart, which was a very popular cart in NL, with the diskmag. Unless the result should be a pink screen with an annoying beep, it doesn't work :)

the pack i linked you a while ago has a lot of other cartridges :) and yes, blackbox too (you need a recent nightly build of VICE for those)

Yes, and i went through the pack, thanks. :)

But still i came across a cart that is not in there (Action Cartridge plus v6.0), of which i've just sent an image to Compyx.

So it could be there are more of those "rarer" carts in use.

Look at the Pokefinder wiki (rr.pokefinder.org) and in doubt message countzero - he can provide all of those

I did look there, but to no avail. Haven't asked, though.

But my point is still that there may be more cartridges in use out there that neither you, nor Countzero nor i are aware of. =)

Well, maybe it is a matter of convenience or lacking knowledge how to do a proper dump.
Just wondering if you only asked for a dump or also point to a tool/instruction on how to do this properly.

did not know WarpSpeed v2 was rare :) This was mostly bug fixes. according to harold and would be sent as replacements from people who complained so I should be paying him.. I think the code was optimized so we got some more free space to add things like dual drive copy and some other small utils.. The entire thing took over an year even starting from the code used by CDA complete data automation where I started working on it and then harold said he got a contract from cinemaware so I should be selling it to him, got like $2k for it.. At the time I did not know him for the charlatan and I said well since CDA did not have the funds for mass production I decided future royalties that never came was better than wasting another year of work.. So it was over an years work for me.. marty, harolds partner did the computer side disassembler and stuff.. big mistake there as he stole my personal info and took out a loan from the bank which I did not find out until much later and defaulted on it. Last letter I got form the bank said I owe than $50k or something..

The original post was a bit unclear. WarpSpeed v2 was mentioned as being on the "i have that already, so it can't be all that rare" list. :)

That said, there seem to be at least two variants, both looking identical on the surface, but with some differences under the hood:

Not quite sure what to think of that. Maybe some scene journalists would be very interested in these stories and also let the accused tell their sides? :)

And for the record, this was referring to Transwarp V0.64 released 10 days later.
