Yes! Say tuned... :-) Current test results looking promising (but at 32x sid speed). Will improve on the selection criteria.

One of my experiments here.. Quality is absolutely horrible at the moment, no doubt about it, but bear in mind that 20 seconds of samples are condensed in 1k or so.

Only uses one channel with 3 waveforms at the moment (triangle, pulse (static pulse value, and noise) 1 rasterline usage and updating once per frame

I wish Alorithm success with the effort. It could be good to take a look at SAM, how it generates the speech formants, as it uses pulse+tri+tri+noise, though it generates samples.
