straight from YOUR playlist
if you encounter a piece of sound so great you want to hang yourself for not being able to write something of similar quality...
if you think you've just found the best music ever made...
if you think a certain song/tune/symphony contains some unusually awesome elements...
...and you want to share it with other c64 composers and not necessarily via your facebook wall, just do it here.
explanations, reviews and so on warmly welcome.
one link per day max.
have fun. |

three months ago or so, i've discovered probably the greatest composer that had ever been in pop music. i've hardly listened to anyone else's music since :/
the name is Lo Borges, the birthplace Minas Gerais, the talent comparable to that of Paul McCartney, only multiplied twice or thrice. you can judge for yourself and negate or approve ;)

later, fusion-induced orchestral mainstream edition

Hypnotic, grandiloquent, progressive, jazzy "church" stuff... simply awesome! |

jaga jazzist ftw! \o/ my favourite one from them has to be 'all i want is tonight', but this one rules supreme of course, and sounds great indeed. |

we know. 17 weeks on top of Polish charts for Gotye ft. Kimbra :|
here's one I can't turn off, nor do I want to. a forgotten diamond from the 80s (although I've heard she is still quite popular in Benelux):

Yeah that's because Gotye (Wouter de Bakker) was born in Bruges/Belgium.
His parents immigrated to down under when he was a little boy.
so the belgians still consider him one of theirs. so do the aussies (I presume) |

Jerome van Rossum's Chittagong Groove was released around the start of my audio production days. I still can't decide if I like it better as a recording engineer or a musician. |
