ifli painters
Hi, I'm trying to explore the world of ifli. I'm used to drawing MC pics with a mouse in Interpaint.
Any program you can advise? Found some myself, but no mouse unfortunately. Drawing on pc is an option + converting it, guess you need a custom pallete for that... But prefered is a good tool on c64 if possible. |

Yes as long it's true pixeling why not? If you use some of the fancy effects in Photoshop or already available fonts in it, that's where it starts to get 'cheating'
I wouldn't us that.. Atleast not with any pride creating it. I'll make sure to drop you a line after first experiments with it |

"funpaint isnt that fun, despite that the name suggests it.
atleast not when you've been saving your picture in packed
format for a while, and realize that its been corrupted
all along.
i think gunpaint is less buggy, but you need a bunch of
empty disks handy, since it saves unpacked, you can save
to 1581 if you have one, but cant load from it."
Heh, my 1st ifli i used funpainter, it's ok, although i found to my horror that it is not possible to use black in the lower area of the screen. After that, i switched to Gunpaint, really cool!. I know of no other ifli painters. My last ifli was called Shoot Out and should appear in a future demo called ZERO's & ONEs. The part is 100% coded, although the demo still needs finishing ;)

I've experienced problems with Funpaint such as not being able to place black in the lower half of the screen, but there's an improved version which fixes most of these bugs. |
