C64 demos are lame

@Doom^IRIS

It turns out there are no average people. And I wouldn't say current Amiga releases aren't interesting. They're sort of in between PC releases and C64 ones, for better or worse. At least Amiga demos don't make your ears bleed, and you can actually tell one effect apart from the next when watching an Amiga production. Mind you I've seen some jaw-dropping C64 stuff, but not at any parties I've been to recently.

The C64 community may now hate me if they are so inclined. Go on, you can do it. I know you're angry. And anger leads to hate. Hate leads to hatred. Hatred leads to malice. Malice leads to enmity. Enmity leads to repugnance. Repugnance leads to bitterness. And it sort of stops there because my thesaurus sucks.

Really, C64 demos are lame. It's like they all use the same palette, and only like 16 cols or summin. Like a little bit of originality would kill you. I also think if the C64 coders knew more about cache optimization, that'd help a lot. And I hate how AHX is so popular on the C64. I mean, it's a nice sound and all, but really, it's been done too much already.

Later 2 paragraphs. That 2nd one is especially nice. Reminds me of pirate insults in The Secret Of Monkey island series. Although they wouldn't have chance to pronouce such a long ones (and with dictionary in hand) while sword-fighting. Anyway, I like it. Nice kick.

Jeez I did the wrong choice in my life, and only now I can see the Light. How did I make it possible to happen?

well, since when is someone taking persons with a newbie nick naming like "Doom^IRIS" seriously?

At least C64 coders don't need extra hardware to pose :)

Maybe he has some kind of lense flare on his iris?

who cares anyway, Amigascene never was as cool as C64,

it is just pure envy, that he could not be one of those coolies...

and...

a big LOL ->
