to sid or 3sid
Has anyone done 3 sid versions of existing sid music? instead of one osc per voice, a full sid per voice. |

Interestingly, the Ensoniq ESQ-1, (which was also designed by Yannes), has basically one SID for each of its eight voices, albeit with 32 different sampled waveshapes replacing the SID's noise/saw/triangle/modulated pulse, and a few extra envelopes as modulation sources. |

Here you will find a ZIP that includes BOM, Gerbers and instructions to build a SwinSID x8 and x16 for C64. Now we are only missing a x16 SID tune :-)
