improvements

1. ntsc categories for releases and groups
2. icon that signifies "screen shot" or "download" available, for releases
3. better way to navigate releases
- by type, for example, when browsing graphics buttons can take you to the next graphic, not next release

Better design.

The whole idea of this site is quite cool, but it looks shitty. No offence ;)

The navigation and the search-screen most definitely need a revamp. It's very far from intuitive.

You should try and make it validate as well (http://validator.w3.org).

Drop me a line if you need some help on the design.

This site is developed since late 2001. You should maybe have spent more time observing first than immediatelly judging it. Also it's always good to read the older posts in forum or spend some time lurking around to get the idea how it works and then post.

Authors already spent a lot of time on improvements and site is still being developed. Search engine redesign has already been discussed and I'm sure it's in to-do list. And maybe you should formulate your suggestions more precisely next time. I'm quite sorry that I told you about this site, but I didn't know that you will join the debate as an elephant in the porcelaine shop

I dare to say that 95% of sites won't be validated anyway.

Actually if someone offered me help after first kicking my ego first, I would politely send him to hell.

Ohhh that's a constructive criticism! And after this everybody will supplicate for your friendly offered help Lord. Or how should we call you!

Hey c'mon, the guy may have critisized this site, but he also offers his help, so it's not like he's just here to slag things down.

The design of the site is definitely not "shitty", but everyone's of course free to voice his/her opinion...

Although my answer might sound quite harsh, it wasn't meant to start flames.

I prefer a bare looking page to one which takes half an hour to load on my 56K.

It was just my opinion. I realy don't like this kind of critism. But I understand... :) Sorry!

I had prepared a long answer for you regarding the reactions to my post. However, I managed to click a link and all the stuff I'd written was gone.

It is too late to start over again now, I will do it tomorrow instead.
