why is Top Priority/Contex is is a milestone on the c64 demos scene

lets begin for the ppl who don't familiar with this demo , go and see it. now! its a great one believe me, but i'm pretty sure most of the ppl already saw the demo from 1989 made by Contex boys (Cycleburner, flex and others) . this pure gold demo!! good hot chocolate ,its (for me at least) a milestone in the C64 demo history and i think ppl tend to downgrade of the impact of the demo on the demo scebe onward . i choose (after deep thinking) for this demo deserve to be in top 10 demos of all times , its was massively discussed if its appropriate to compare nowadays demos with its utterly significant progress in the code music and gfx , but i think no demo till today have the great impact of style like this one. don't get me wrong !! we all doing great fabulous demos which beat this demo in every parameter , nevertheless this demo is a milestone of combination digi sound +code and gfx and for its maybe the best demo ever made on the commodore C64 .this was 5 cent of "Top Priority" demo as a milestone in C64 demos but also for Amiga demos (9 fingers) . don't us forget the history so will know better the future .

Top Priority was/is a very good demo, but I think Cycleburner made a better one before that, under his old nick "NOP".
This demo won the democompo @ Spydeberg in 1989 with Abnormal second and Rawhead at third place.

Check it out!

Yeah, this is probably Cycleburner's best one. Impressed me a lot when it came out. Awesome samples for the time and a very cool rubber effect on the scroll.

I also can remember a 'Humanoid' demo, Acid samples and smilies, probably not by Cycleburner, but still very cool for its day.

COOL! That's the one. My monitor sure suffered while running this at full volume ;)

Thanks!

Out of milestone error in line 11.
What about a top 10 for each year!? ;-)

I liked Look Sharp/Contex because of the digi and the effect with the ball :)
