So what do I do for a living? Well, I work at a bioscience company, GE healthcare where I handle the distribution (mainly in europe). Yes, you could say I'm a swapper. ;-) Nice work, good pay and excellent working-pals.

Quote: Well, I for one like to know what people are doing in real life, and how that connects to their scene activities.

Me, I'm a software architect, responsible for the 5th largest site in Holland. Also, my love for writing (long) scrolltexts resulted in me being a lyricist for a Dutch singer (shameless plug: http://www.lyrical.demon.nl/owngod/)

The scene made me what I am today, for sure.

"Woke up this morning, got out of bed
one more day closer to death"

Well the opening lines are very up-lifting, i must say.

Especially when sung by Jeroen Tel (you *did* know it was Jeroen singing the first part there, didn't you?)

I'm more concerned about my future jobs than the previous ones...

I've done some things throug computer journalism, both paper and TV, through game cartridges development, through web development, through bussines java application programming, through doing some 3d illustrations, through foreign trade, through Manga/Anime importing, through the game programming for PC, to whatever future brings...

You know what they say - if you done so many of them, you cant be really good at any :)

Oh! I used to work as a teacher for one year too :)

IT. Namely administration, but mostly web development. That isn't what I've always dreamt of, but once you live in a major shithole like Serbia, you shouldn't be too picky considering jobs.

i´ve been working in a videostore for some years, selling hollywood-crap, pr0n and pc/playstation/x-box games. guess the xxx-stuff ist very scenerelated :)
Also did some pdf related coding for some insurance, most boring shit i ever did. I got that job because the owner is an old shoolmate of me who remembered that i used to code on the c64.
these days i´m doing prepress stuff at a scientific book-publisher. Pretty cool job, as i have much time to hang around here while printing the plates for offsetmachines.
