Riverwash releases not under latest entries?
A lot of the Riverwash entries ended up under latest additions, and not under latest releases. I'm guessing the release date decides what goes into additions and what goes into releases? I'd rather not subscribe to the latest addition feed, as there's just too much old crap there, but missing half the compo releases kinda sucks...

maybe it should be possible to allow to specify the number of entries in a feed via a parameter in the php file ? the more entries the wider timespan they cover.
to make sure that i dont miss out on any release i subscribe to the feed via Google Reader. i also installed Google Reader Notifier so whenever something new appears on the feed i get a popup notification. works great although the RSS refresh frequency on GR leaves abit to be desired. |

i think he want something like this....
the list of releases shown on the front page of csdb:
----
new and hot releases of 2008
--
new but not hot and released in 2008
--
old shit
----
today we only have the listing of new and hot releases of 2008 and old shit...
so older 2008 releases get mixed with old shit, here the mess starts. what we need is someone that can fix the "new but not hot and released in 2008" so they dont get mixed with "old shit", but i guess this aint never going to happen...

Quote:I guess what we are looking for here, is a function like "latest additions" which displays what have been added lately, but only those releases which are new enough.
Yes, exactly. What's "new enough" is of course up for debate, but how about "recently added, and release date within the last 365 days"? If it's older than that, it's probably a "historical" addition to the database.

I now changed the RSS-feed so it should meet your demands.
They now return all releases released within the last 90 days AND that was added in the last two weeks.
That should do the trick. Please check your feed-readers to verify that the missing entries now show up. :)
