VICE bug (?) - Screen not refreshing on secondary monitor
I have this issue with the screen not refreshing on the secondary monitor. Is it a known bug? Is there a solution? |

it avoids non even scaling factors, which would create ugly artefacts. |

I think this is more of a windows bug / hardware issue than a vice bug, since I have the same thing with VLC and flash movies in firefox...

wat
unless you`re tormenting your eyes with a cathode ray tube display, switching to a lower resolution than the native one for your LCD results in ugly artifacts anyway.
and why is free scaling being introduced to WinVice then ? |

wtf? :P original resolution with borders is nearly 400x300. 800x600 is for more accurate rendering of pal effect. not to mention that with my new setup i cannot switch to resolution lesser than 640x480. clear? :P |

and? ofcourse you CAN use the native resolution of your display?

thats just a side effect of hardware accelerated scaling, which allows free scaling without any extra programming (and no cpu overhead). |

800x600, double size, pal, odd lines phase 1.0, odd lines offset 1.5. |

no. 800x600 is LESS than i want to use if you didnt get my question.
btw: "800x600 is for more accurate rendering of pal effect"- lol how do they relate ? take a screen shot in the resolution 1024x768,1280x1024 or any other you wish and tell me how it affects the "pal effect".

yes ofcourse- with this result. i get about the same effect using the windowed mode and a black wallpaper:) |

maybe i didn't get the whole matter. i assume that if people don't see the border, they use too low resolution or sth o_O btw vice doesn't stretch the render to the whole screen thus i have to use multiplication of 400x300 that is 800x600 to have proper fullscreen view. i have crt display.
