All my requests in a single post...
Im looking for the following...
1. An old C64 game, I think was called 'In The Beginning' where youstarted as a cell, and developed in man (through different stages) if I remember correctly it was done in BASIC and took about thirteen minutes to load!
2. The BASIC mandelbrot from commodore format issue 34 or 35.
3.The Creatures II style snow routine from commodore format erm.. im sure it was late 40's? (I dont have my CF mags anymore :( )
Thats all, If anyone can help I'd be most greatfull. |

Alter Ego rules too. Especially the moralistic female version. For you who haven't tested it out, I heavily recommend taking a run as a young woman in that game. Anyway, this discussion led to me checking out all those odd, odd games i've been wondering about for some years...
Hmm, now I succeeded in hijacking this thread. Blast. |

If you insist, here's some recent findings:
* Wicked (by Electric Dreams)
This is a wonderful gem, with music by Richard Joseph.
Very nice, but quite strange if you don't read the docs.
* Web Dimension (Activision)
Russell Lieblich is a garant for strange C64 gaming.
I have just tried it out, and it's unique in many ways.
Not all of them ways are positive, though.
* Moon Dust (Creative Software)
Strangeness taken to a completely new level.
Aesthetically somewhat like Web Dimension.
* Rainbow Walker (Synapse Software)
A wonderful, wonderful kind of forerunner to Nebulus.
If you have missed this game, complete with music a la
early Nintendogames, you have sure missed something.
* Gates of Dawn (Virgin Games)
Must have been one of the main inspirationsources to
the Panoramicdemo "Parapsykolog". Why? Just play it.
The completely insane theme and the graphics is just
enough to make me go bananas.
Runner up: Zoomerang (Atlantis Software) |

bird mother - teaches you how to be a caring mother of birds

Could the game you're talking about be "Evolution" (c) 1982 by Sydney Development? That's what the description you gave made me think about!
