Personal program request (will pay)

Hello. I am looking for a good coder who can write programs involving writing lines in the DOS and sending the results to another computer. I CAN AND WILL pay for this service. I don't want to discuss this on these forums, but if anyone is interested, email me at ductiledogg@yahoo.com and I will respond quickly. In my return email i will describe the exact nature of and reason for this program. Remember, it wont be a too in depth program, and I WILL PAY! Thank you, Cobain
remember: ductiledogg@yahoo.com 2g's in there :)

If you're serious, you should be able to find most of the info you neen on "programmers heaven" (google for it if you dont know what it is) and similar sites.

I'm not going to help you with the actual code though, since:

A: The project sounds highly suspect
B: I dont have the time
C: I havent done text parsing in C in a couple of years, and I have no desire to refreshen my knowledge in that area.

In general though, the first part is easy. Basically you just output commands to DOS and parse the response. I did it once to do a Windows API for a command based version of RCS, and it's not that tricky to get it working.

The second part shouldnt be to hard either, since you can do a similar thing with a plain FTP-window (parsing the text and sending commands)

But, that is also all help you will get. You really shouldnt ask non-c64-related questions like that on a site dedicated to the c64.

Well, can you at least tell me how to make C++ run a DOS command? That i couldnt use for anything bad, since i know so little C++. I have asked everyone at school, and no one knows how to make a C++ program that even opens the DOS! I am using DEV C++ compiling suite. Thanks.

Truly amazing!
I never did feel any attraction towards PC´s,but this beats my worst imagination.
A guy wanting to do C++ stuff, looking for support on a C64 site?
Doesn´t Google support "C++" and directed you here? :P
