PW in SDI
Hi i want to know is there a way to change the pw in the tracker with command or a other way to set the pw of every note.A kind of lfo with no start point.

Uh..
set new pulse program, by setting another instrument nr.
a pulse program can be more than 1 line, it can be as long as you want.
im afraid its tied to an instrument.
to use a pulse program, you must use the instrument tied to it.

you can do anything you want with the pulse, provided you know how to program the pulse table.
im guessing you want to change the pulse to something, in the middle of something...
well, you can f.ex do this:
waaaauuuuuuuung (a pulse) + weep weep wup!
in the same pulse program.
just make it more lines..
or if you send me your worktune, and explain what you wanna do, i can try and do it, and explain what i did :D |

Odo. I know what you mean. In cybertracker, it is possible to change the pulse in the tracker. But i have not seen it in sdi. You must do it like Jan said.

Nobody reads the manuals anymore. :)
Add $40 to the instrument's pulseprogram and it will become continous on all notes.

Can you give me an example ? i think i'm doing some thing wrong :(

adding $40 to pulse program, does not set the PW to what he wants at any time he wants. the pulse prog has to be timed, and use more lines to do that anyway.
he ask to set PW anytime he wants, and the only way to do it is to start a pulseprog with the width he wants, at the time he wants (using a new instrument) OR time the happening by timing a contiguous pulse (+$40) :D

Try to load this snapshot into Vice. Look for the flashing cursor. Change 4 there to C or 0.
