err, they are a lot other things which are no scene relases like the most drunken scnener or any "C64 teddy" or so releases in CSDb.

I would rather not vote for a delete really, else so much would have to be deleted.
When I once said like you, to delete those, people said "nah, it's fun =)".

Errm, yes.

well, it's possible :) I don't know all files in csdb but I think, that "most drunken scener" should be deleted too. CSDb should accept stuff from Wild Compos only if they were released on C64 parties.

imho only stuff that actually runs on a c64 should be here. "other platform tools" are already questionable imho. this is "c64 scene database" not "funny shit someone who knows what a c64 is did" database.

other platform tools are often used to produce prgs that run on the C64. We would only cut ourselves into out own flash to delete all those. about the rest I agreee, but I see the problem where to present such stuff, if on or two complain about posting it on c64.sk and one or two about CSDb now. Seriously, I am happpy about everything that gets released and is related to the C64, and if it's a Welle:Erball concert, the hack, there are enough that are interested in that.

Otherwise, we need a toally new platform for such C64 related "releases", but who would create such a new platform??? Who???

If you want to delete all such stuff everywhere, ok, but then there must be an alternative platform/place where such stuff can be placed on - for people that are interested in that - and I am sure not to be the only one! :)

the problem with the whole "open" approach is that its pretty hard to define what belongs here and what doesnt. whats next? will people add hundreds of sid remixes?

I agree with Groepaz and this is also my opinion, that this is C64 scene database. Everything, what's not runnable on C64/C128 should be not uploaded here. Cross software too because it's not a part of real scene.

Still the problem: other platform tools are often used to produce prgs that run on the C64. We would only cut ourselves into out own flash

So, keep this section as it was

Does not hurt anybody but even helps development of new C64 stuff :)
