Release id #6825 : Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi

There seems to be a couple of these:

Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in my Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi
Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi

What's the deal here?

Hmm, seams to be the same release under various groups. Why not just have it as one entry and add all the groups? Which I guess is pretty much what Zyron was thinking :)

Not really. I thought it was compotunes & was wondering why they all have the same name.

One of the rules (the only rule?) in that compo was that you had to name your tune "Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi".

Deriving from an original statement by Hollowman, the ambition was to make as many musicians as possible enter tunes under the same name to some odd compo. If I remember it correctly, you didn't have to name it "Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi" at all to compete? They made a website to promote this great collection of tunes aswell.

Ah, it was the Vision 2002 musiccompo. Too bad Noxs took down the website about it.

Wasn't it one of those numerous mean attempts to confuse us HVSC Crew guys? ;-)
Anyway, I've created a standalone compo entry labelled Sit in My Underwear, Drinking Pepsi and assigned all those releases to it. IIRC not all of these tunes were released at Vision 2002.

the original idea from noxs was to come up with a compilation of some sort, where all the tunes were named like exactly that. but that idea broke off and all of the tunes got submitted to vision 2002 instead. does anyone know if all of them got played? i found my tune along with some others in the vision-pack, but the results seem a tad confused about some of the tunes and their ranking.

It was partly because the HVSC team kept messing up names on tunes, so they figured if all the tunes were called the same thing... i have this sneaking suspicion i came up with the original idea on IRC or something. =-)
